Miami Book Fair International/25th Anniversary Fair
Arranged programs for distinguished authors, including Laurent de Brunhoff, Charles Johnson, Peter Matthiessen, and Nobel Prize-recipient Derek Walcott, as separate showcase events for the landmark 25th anniversary of Miami Book Fair International.
Worked closely with the PEN American Center and Book Fair staff to coordinate special sessions at the Fair, including "Something to Hide: Writers Against the Surveillance State," a presentation on the relationship between privacy and creative freedom, featuring Francine Prose, Billy Collins, Carl Hiaasen, Esmeralda Santiago, and Art Spiegelman, among others.
Secured video testimonial greetings from esteemed authors that were "aired" at the Fair's Inauguration Ceremony, including Toni Morrison, Geraldine Brooks and Isabel Allende. Coordinated "Q & A's" with 25 authors for the Fair's commemorative magazine.

Attained a three-page feature story on the author in People magazine, coverage in Poets & Writers and off-the-book-page interviews in daily newspapers across the country.
Coordinated author's 10-city tour, booked interviews with local National Public Radio affiliates in major markets, and set up talks/booksignings in churches across the country.
Arranged media interviews and a private screening for the author's award-winning documentary film, “New York in the Fifties,” at The Angelika Film Center in New York City.

Secured Associated Press feature story that was syndicated to media outlets worldwide, resulting in a whirlwind of print, television, radio and extensive online coverage.
Booked national media interviews, including BBC, Wisconsin Public Radio and "Good Morning America," with various members of the Random House Reference Editorial staff.
Retained as the imprint's sole publicist for over a year as a direct result of this project and was responsible for the publicity campaigns of all of their titles for two seasons. Drafted and distributed corporate press releases and news announcements for the imprint as well.
